A custom, one-of-a-kind program, which combines Yoga & the Arts in a way that is natural to children and teens. A great place for active & creative kids to spend the summer.

Please pre-register at least 1 week prior to desired session.

ARTOGA’S SUMMER CAMP THEMES, DATES & DESCRIPTIONS

6/1 - 6/5 (1-week session)  Circus of Philosophy, Painters, and Poses  

Be part of a one-of-a-kind circus of the imagination complete with clowns, tightrope, trapeze artists, yoga poses and lion tamer.  Learn proper position of Yoga poses.  Explore artists like Hunderwasser, and the music of Saint Saens.

6/8 - 6/12 & 6/15 - 6/19    Wizard of Oztoga

Virtues, Values and Philosophy & Comedy (Huh?) are the main focus in this "Artoga" Adaptation" of the popular tale reenacted through movement and theatrics.  Help create our Emerald City canvas backdrop on stage & sandcastles at the beach. Learn to do Yoga (not like the Tinman). Take musical journey thru the world of Oztoga and learn how sound is created in the movies, then create your own sound effects and sing and play songs if you’d like.  Explore virtues like Forgiveness, Ego & Grace.

6/22 - 6/26  Revolving & Evolving

Saving the Earth one creative child at a time!  Learn how everyday objects can make music and talk about the sounds the earth makes while learning what you can do to help the Earth be a little bit greener.  Help create our completely recycled backdrop with found materials and learn to move more in balance with nature. Make a mini-compost and create sand sculptures at the beach.  Learn about Moderation, Appreciation, Self-Responsibility and Respect.

7/6 - 7/10 & 7/13 - 7/17    Real or Illusion?  

Take the mysterious ride thru the Magic of the Arts . Learn cool Magic Tricks, Perform Magic Show or Choose-Your-Own-Expression Group-created skits, Explore Artists like M.C. Escher and Salvador Dali.  Come do Yoga Sun Salutes on the beach. Learn how sound changes the way you see and understand everything that happens around you.  Use sound effects to surprise and shock, create moods, and even colors!  Create Artistic Paper Magic & Delve into concepts of Patience, Awareness & Focus.

7/20 - 7/24 & 7/27 - 7/31    Where in the World are These People?   

Group-created skits about rituals & traditions from around the world.  World music, dance and art. Explore different types of Yoga from around the globe.  Make "Heal-doo" dolls and "Around the world" Canvas backdrops.  Learn about Tolerance, Non-Judgement, Equality.

8/3 - 8/7 & 8/10 - 8/14    Let's All Go to the Movies  

Drum Roll Please.  Featuring "The Media & Me" - Balancing it all out with movement, relaxation and Yoga for Everyday.  "My Movie" posters, skits adapted "Artoga-style" from various genres and time periods of movies.  Explore movement with musicals, sing along with your favorite movie songs, learn about folley in the movies Even see how sound is engineered and mixed down for movies.

8/17 - 8/21 Bringin' Out the Animal in Me (1-week session pending Duval's Schedule)

Explore Animals move through Yoga poses & games, Animal Mask Making, My Animal Self Sculpture, and Dr. Seuss Creature Show.  Explore your wild & calm side.

(Heavily Chaperoned & Lifeguard supervised - an instructor will also stay back at center with children not going.  We will NOT go past ankle deep waters.  We will cross at the light with a guard.)

*$50 Non-Refundable PER WEEK/PER CHILD (DEDUCTED FROM balance) Deposit Required at Registration to hold spot.

Payments must be paid at least ten business (10) days prior to start of class/camp session and are non-refundable.

Payments made after this time will be assessed with late fee of $10.

*There is a $25 fee for returned check & $10/month late fee after 30 days
